Responsibilities

Position Objective:

 

The Operations Specialist is an administrative and operational role. It is responsible for acting as the liaison and main point of contact between Better Health Group and Better Health Group contracted external stakeholders. The incumbent will report to their designated department lead (or similar role) and will ensure smooth operations and effective communication between our organization and stakeholders. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective communication
  • Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution
  • Maintain department-specific trackers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement operational strategies
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss operational issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in the healthcare landscape that may impact operations
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Propose and implement process enhancements to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders to opportunities and address them effectively
  • Additional duties as assigned



Position Requirements/ Skills:

 

  • Bachelors degree in a healthcare administration-related field, required
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare of related field
  • Strong knowledge of health plan operations and familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive operational improvements
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have own means of transportation

Pay Range

USD $45,300.00 - USD $67,900.00 /Yr.
