Position Objective:
The Provider Network Development Representative supports the growth of Better Health Group by: promoting BHG’s value-based solutions to primary care organizations (e.g. Practices, Medical Groups, Community Health Centers); creating interest and engagement among our target prospects and current clients (for cross-selling and new product offers); and securing and coordinating in-person meetings and appointments with our local Provider Network Development Managers. The incumbent will be afforded the opportunity to continuously grow their knowledge and expertise in the rapidly growing field of value-based and accountable care models, proven to improve patient care quality, reduce healthcare costs, and provide financial security for independent primary care organizations. This role is expected to conduct prospecting and cross-selling activities, as well as follow up on warmer inbound leads and nurture referrals using a variety of relevant channels and methods, including calls, emails, and social media. The NDR procures, analyzes, and curates information within BHG’s CRM and growth systems, which helps BHG improve the solutions our Network Development team offers. The role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of sales and prospecting methods, and an understanding of the primary care market.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Business to business (B2B) prospecting
- Researches and qualifies leads by levels of interest and business model fit
- Collaborates with key cross-functional groups in developing and executing marketing campaigns in support of potential providers
- Solicits and pursues referrals from business, client, and internal networks
- Collaborates in the creation and curation of content for use in prospecting, marketing, lead nurturing, and sales efforts
- Initiates cold calls, emails, and other outbound communications
- Develops strategies to use social media and professional networking channels to find inquiries, start conversations, and build brand credibility
- Manages leads in the sales pipeline
- Maintains timely and accurate growth-related information and systems, (e.g., CRM)
- Acts as a brand liaison and communicates Better Health Group's value proposition
- Educates the primary care community regarding the benefits of a Value-based Care (VBC) model and Accountable Care Organizations (ACO)
Position Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, Communication, Sales Management, or other relevant field, or would consider equivalent years of directly related experience in place of a degree
- 3+ years of B2B lead generation, sales, or marketing experience (preference for primary care, Medicare, or related industry) or would consider 1+ years of direct B2B lead generation and sales experience in the Value-based Care (VBC) or Accountable Care Organization (ACO) space
- Familiar with sales methods and techniques (e.g., needs-based selling, Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN)
- Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration
- Intermediate proficiency level with CRM technology (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Ability to engage and educate on the BHG value proposition
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Comfortable communicating with multiple levels within an organization
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
