Responsibilities

 

The Manager, Field Marketing reports to the Director, Field Marketing.  This position is a part of the Marketing team at Better Health Group.

 

Position Objective:

 

The Manager, Field Marketing leads a team of Community Liaisons to achieve key metrics and goals.  The incumbent will spend up to three days a week in the field alongside their team to build strong relationships with community stakeholders. They collaborate closely with clinic teams to ensure seamless integration between the Community Liaison team and internal operations, ultimately improving outcomes for the community.

 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for achieving the goals of assigned territory and team. 

  • Collaborates with the Director, Field Marketing to execute an action plan for market activities and community outreach to support market growth and retention of assigned territory.

  • Collaborates with the leadership team to execute successful new clinic openings in assigned market. 

  • Onboards and trains new Community Liaisons for assigned market.

  • Leads and manages Community Liaisons, providing coaching and mentorship.

  • Leads and assists with the development of strategic relationships with community partners, health plans, physicians, and office teams for new hires.  

  • Assists with coverage for open territory when needed.

  • Maintains regular communication with Director, Field Marketing with weekly/bi-weekly updates of current market strategies, successes, and challenges within territory. 

  • Conducts presentations to generate leads and increase awareness of VIPcare and targeted affiliate providers.

  • Coordinates marketing collateral required for events and advertisements.

  • Provides support for special projects and educational efforts as directed.

  • Drives market membership goals for both growth and retention.

  • Maintains relationships with Brokers, Health Plan Insurance Agents, Community Case Workers, and local Vendors associated with the senior population.

  • Performs follow-ups with new patients and ensures scheduling of first appointments.

  • Plans, coordinates, and executes local events within the community.

  • Responsible for providing a monthly activity calendar of scheduled community events and forecasting new outreach opportunities and partner relationships.

  • Obtains positive membership growth by educating potential patients about our Providers and proven healthcare model.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

 

Position Requirements/Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following: healthcare sales, B2C, B2B, community outreach.

  • 2-3 years of direct people leadership experience with a proven track record of meeting team goals.

  • Experience working in the valued based care (VBC) and/or Medicare Advantage space highly preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.

  • Community event planning experience or knowledge a plus.

  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. 

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Passion for health and preventative care along with a confident and determined results-driven attitude is a must.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and results-oriented capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work in a shifting and fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.

  • Communicating within a matrixed environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 15 lbs.

  • Must have a current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as determined by the business need is required.

  • Up to 50% travel required.
