Position Objective:
The Director, Healthcare Operations is an administrative and operational role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of VIPcare’s healthcare facilities ensuring the delivery of efficient, effective, and patient-focused services. The incumbent will be responsible for leading an operations team and collaborating with various departments to ensure healthcare efforts align with Better Health Group’s objectives and values.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the healthcare system.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational goals with the overall mission and vision of Better Health Group.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to healthcare facility managers, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
Implement best practices to streamline processes and improve overall operational performance.
Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Analyze performance metrics and data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with finance and administrative teams to develop and manage budgets for healthcare operations.
Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial sustainability.
Foster collaborative relationships with medical staff, department heads, and other key stakeholders to enhance communication and coordination.
Communicate effectively with internal and external partners, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
Additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements/ Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in a senior management role within healthcare operations.
5+ years of proven experience in leading teams and driving performance improvement.
Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards.
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and value-based care is a plus.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning and execution.
Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) for real-time collaboration.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, providers, and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to think critically, work independently, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Appreciation of cultural diversity and sensitivity toward target patient populations.
Demonstrated ability to handle data with confidentiality.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, and reach as needed in a healthcare or office environment.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods and use a computer and telephone for extended durations.
Requires normal range of vision and hearing (corrected if necessary).
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle safely.
Reliable transportation required; must be able to travel approximately 25% of the time within the assigned territory or region.
