Responsibilities

Reports To: VP, Team Resources

The Opportunity:

The Physician Recruiter partners with hiring managers to identify and qualify viable candidates.  The incumbent conducts comprehensive screening of prospective applicants and referrals; provides exceptional customer service; establishes and maintains a strong recruiting presence, proactively building candidate pipelines; makes connections and develops relationships with a network of physicians; establishes and maintains a strong community presence and creates effective partnerships both in and outside the company.

Position Location: Tulsa, OK / Hybrid Role in office 2-3 days per week

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizes innovative sourcing techniques and technology to identify and engage active and passive candidates.
  • Conducts detailed job scope conversations with hiring leaders to define position specifications and expectations.
  • Solicits and pursues referrals from business networks and internal team members.
  • Posts and manages open positions, develops prescreening questions, and ensures accuracy in all candidate-facing materials.
  • Screens resumes and applications for candidate viability, including assessing compensation expectations.
  • Conducts comprehensive behavioral-based interviews and presents qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Prepares candidates for interviews by providing schedules, logistics, and expectations for follow-up.
  • Maintains a high-quality pipeline of prescreened candidates to ensure multiple viable options are consistently in play.
  • Delivers timely updates and clear communication to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Presents offers to candidates and works to secure acceptance.
  • Maintains strong professional and community networks to support long-term candidate pipeline development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support recruiting and organizational goals.

 

Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communications, human resources or a related field or equivalent work experience directly related to the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.
  • 4+ years of experience in specialized physician recruitment in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) for real-time collaboration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, screening, and closing candidates in competitive markets, with a strong background in marketing/sourcing techniques (e.g., cold calling, networking, research).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of the broader business environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledgeable in employment laws, including EEO compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.

 

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the office for extended periods, including climbing stairs as needed.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% or more of the workday.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, and pull.
  • Regular use of a computer and standard office equipment (e.g., copier, printer).
